@jackrwilkie If we just look at sequential things, Acts 10 is a clear statement of receiving the spirit preceding baptism. They are baptized in water because they have already received the spirit

The Great Commission proves baptism is the moment of salvation. If it were something we do after we're saved, it would fall under "teaching them to observe all I have commanded you." Instead, it comes before that.

Regardless he teaches a false prosperity gospel. I wouldn’t care if he took a salary from the church. I care about the fact that he teaches a gospel that does not save.

Baptism has never saved a single soul. Nobody in the Bible was saved by being immersed in water. Every single person was saved by trusting alone in Jesus (and God in general in the OT).
