David Sinclair said: "You can reverse aging by 75% in 6 weeks… by reinstalling the "software" of the body so that it's young again." This idea sprouted when he proved in his first experiment that you can accelerate aging in mice: "We took two mice born on the same day—same age, same genetics. We 'scratched the CD' of one mouse, corrupting its software and accelerating its aging. The result was dramatic. One looked far older than its brother." He believed if you can give aging, you can also take it away. — @davidasinclair PS: B2C health apps, SaaS, brand or info founders: We'll help turn 𝕏 into your #1 organic acquisition channel in the next 90 days without you writing a single tweet. Max Marchione says a microdose of GLP-1 every 2 weeks is one of the single best things he does for his quality of life. Marchione is the founder of Superpower. Here's what he says it does for him: • Eliminates food noise • Reduces inflammation • Boosts focus and energy • Improves insulin sensitivity • Removes the need for self-discipline around eating GLP-1 made peptides mainstream. The same therapeutic approach is now being explored for inflammation, immune function, sleep, and injury recovery. — Max Marchione (@maxmarchione) on the Monitoring The Situation (@MTSlive) podcast PS: B2C health apps, SaaS, brand or info founders: We'll help turn 𝕏 into your #1 organic acquisition channel in the next 90 days without you writing a single tweet. Chong Xie has worked with martial artists in their 60s and 70s who move like cats. He referenced one Eastern martial artist in his 60s whose bone density tested at the level of someone in their 30s. His muscles hadn't degenerated. His body still moved with the agility of a young athlete. Xie says the reason was preserved fascia. Most adults start losing muscle mass after 40, especially in the posterior chain. The glutes and hamstrings go first. Xie says this happens because the fascial scaffolding holding those muscles in place has degenerated, not because of aging itself. What protects fascia as you age: - Daily mobility work - Vitamin C for collagen synthesis - Barefoot movement and grounding - Hydration to maintain fascial fluid properties Xie says your bones are suspended by fascia and your muscles sit on it. When the scaffold weakens, everything else follows. — Chong Xie on the Before School Podcast

Chris Masterjohn says methylene blue acts as a pharmacological antidepressant at doses of 10mg or higher. It bumps your dopamine. That's the whole reason people say it makes them feel incredible. It has nothing to do with mitochondria. They're just on a mild antidepressant and don't realize it. RFK Jr. was filmed drinking it. The whole biohacker corner of X is on it. If you're using it before a flight or before holding your breath underwater, fine. Masterjohn says that's the legitimate use. If you're drinking it every day for "longevity," you're going to wreck your energy metabolism. It's a drug. Treat it like one. — Dr. Chris Masterjohn (@ChrisMasterjohn) on Alex Clark’s (@yoalexrapz) podcast PS: B2C health apps, SaaS, brand or info founders: We'll help turn 𝕏 into your #1 organic acquisition channel in the next 90 days without you writing a single tweet. Chris Masterjohn says touching a grocery store receipt puts more BPA into your body than drinking from a plastic water bottle. BPA is a plastic chemical that messes with your hormones. The receipt paper is designed so the coating dusts off onto your hands the moment you touch it. That's how heat printing works. A plastic water bottle is sturdy. A receipt is built to come apart. > If you're a cashier, this stuff is soaking into your fingertips every shift you work. > If you're a customer, you're getting hit with it every time you grab one at checkout. The fix takes two seconds. Tell them you don't need the receipt. — Dr. Chris Masterjohn (@ChrisMasterjohn) on Alex Clark’s (@yoalexrapz) podcast

Julius from MTS Live buys his peptides directly from China at 9 times cheaper than American research-use-only sites. Julius hosts Monitoring The Situation, a tech and longevity podcast. He says he gets strange looks for ordering peptides straight from Chinese suppliers, but he tests every compound himself before using it. He says the only real difference between Chinese suppliers and American research-use-only sites is the 9x premium and the responsibility of running your own testing. Most American buyers don't know the markup exists. They assume the higher price reflects higher quality or better regulation. It usually doesn't. Julius runs his own testing and skips the middle layer entirely. The compound being shipped to insiders for a fraction of the cost is the same compound American buyers are paying 9x more for. — Julius on the Monitoring The Situation (@MTSlive) podcast PS: B2C health apps, SaaS, brand or info founders: We'll help turn 𝕏 into your #1 organic acquisition channel in the next 90 days without you writing a single tweet. If you have a child with crowded teeth, a narrow jaw, or chronic cavities, food may be the cause your dentist has never mentioned. Dr. Weston A. Price documented this in 1939. He traveled the world studying cultures who had never seen refined sugar or white flour. Their children had broad dental arches, perfectly straight teeth, and immunity to tooth decay. When the same cultures adopted modern processed foods, the next generation was born with narrow faces, crowded teeth, and physical deformities. Price documented a Maui family where the eldest child was born before the parents moved to a plantation. She had a normal, well-formed body. After the move to processed food, the next child had a depressed face and flat feet. The third had club feet. The parents returned to traditional foods. Their last two children were born without any deformities at all. — Dr. Weston A. RAW EGG NATIONALIST@Babygravy9

This process has been going on for far longer than 50 years. In Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, from 1939, Weston A. Price talked at length about how intensive agriculture strips the land and its products of essential nutrition. Only regenerative farming addresses this.

Chong Xie just revealed why women tear their ACLs at the highest rate in sports. Coach Xie works with elite athletes and trains UFC fighters and Olympic champions. He says doctors and trainers have been ignoring the tissue that actually causes the problem. Xie says fascia has hormone receptors for both estrogen and testosterone. Higher estrogen levels create more looseness in the fascia, which is the connective tissue that stabilizes joints during cutting, jumping, and pivoting. When fascia is loose, the joint absorbs forces that fascia was supposed to distribute. The ACL takes the hit. Most ACL training programs build up quad and hamstring strength. Xie says they skip the tissue that actually does the stabilizing work. If you have a daughter who plays soccer, basketball, or any cutting sport, the conversation about her fascia is the one her trainer is missing. — Chong Xie on the Before School Podcast
