Instant noodles recalled nationwide.
Fly By Jing announced a recall of select Creamy Sesame Noodles on May 12. The products may have been exposed to peanuts, which are not disclosed on the noodles' packaging, according to a Food & Drug Administration (FDA) recall report. People with peanut allergies risk a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume the recalled noodles.
Fly By Jing discovered that a third-party manufacturer produces its products on equipment that also processed peanuts, which may have led to cross-contamination, according to the recall.
The affected Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles can be identified by the UPC and best-by dates on the bottom of the packaging. Here's more information about the recalled products:

You may have heard of the Pizza Index for monitoring other situations, but a far more interesting dataset is the database of medication shortages.
Four days before this attack, a nationwide shortage of Progesterone was reported. Among other uses, this drug is used for mood management during the transition process.
There's no indication of any link to this attack, and shortages of this drug have been off-and-on over time, but it is a datapoint worth being aware of nonetheless.
