I was born in a safe and stable Christian home, was not abused in any way, and have a very loving family, yet I still ended up being gay.
I was also "masculine" in my childhood: I loved playing in the dirt, watching sports, and helping my dad work outside and fix things.

They always jump to this assumption and frankly it's insulting. The only grooming I ever encountered as a child was done by the Catholic Church. I was never abused or touched. I had two loving parents. Still ended up gay.
