Today I'm releasing a new project: @canonpunks. New Punk collectors are looking for specific traits and combinations, not just any Punk. But over 6,000 Punks sit in wallets that haven't used the marketplace in 12+ months. These Punks are effectively invisible to collectors because public listing doesn't reflect the nuances of how owners actually think about selling. Canon Punks adds private listings and open-to-offers, letting owners signal availability without committing to a public price. For collectors, this means a wider pool and better odds of finding a Punk they love. Loved Punks are more likely to be held long-term. Built on the Node API. A portion of fees will go to the Node Foundation. 🙏

The whole thing is funny The punk is the real asset. All else is fake. Yuga got 430 real assets and a "fake" one, yet convo always centres around sale of the "fake" asset Market doesn't yet agree with this which is the main reason I feel earlier to NFTs than I do to eth or btc

From what I understand, a whale just bought 10.5M PNKSTR worth around $200k. However, it seems kinda strange. Maybe @punksOTC knows what just happened?

Punks above 30 ETH? 3 to go. See I think this is not 2021, it is more structured

This is a rare investment where you actually get 100% of what you pay for. No management fee, no 2/20 structure, no brokers. Anyone can own a CryptoPunk today without a suit and Sotheby's paddle.

This will definitely continue to drive down margins for market makers and brokers but ultimately in a zero fee market those aren't roles that should be inherently very profitable in the first place

Alternatively if you're someone with a large collection who isn't looking to downsize- this will give more opportunities to rotate into other punks at a fair price if someone reaches out to you specifically wanting to buy 1 or more of your punks

This trend continues. Huge amount of activity but still from a relatively small number of users. This facilitates people to trade punks with minimal capital requirements, and it allows sellers to more often see an above floor bid on their mids/grails when needing quick liquidity
