@TheGeorgePu I understand security and design patterns as that’s my job (or a large part of it) so I know what to ask and note. That’s my biggest concern. I’ve seen a lot of stuff that AI wrote and works but because the prompter didn’t KNOW to include common INFOSEC rules it was insecure.

Claude writes 3,000 lines of code. I feel worried when I haven't read all 3,000 lines. Ship it anyway. It works. But 'it works' and 'I understand it' are two different things. That gap bothers me more than it should.

@techspence I haven’t but given that I’ve managed to get Gemini to give me advice on tax evasion and Claude actual malware code and exploits I’m kinda of scared to see what I can pull off with Grok.

Grok is actually not half bad at some things… less restrictive than ChatGPT and Claude. anyone using it for anything fun and security related?

@TracketPacer Depends. I do a lot of hands on due to specialization in my role but I spend a lot of time training folks. The more everyone else knows the lazier I can be and do stuff like go on vacations.

genuine question: are senior roles typically just not hands-on? context: primarily network engineering, but i’ll accept cybersecurity, systems, software answers

Mr. Beast, a well-established financial analyst with an emphasis on cryptocurrencies, has filed a trademark application for "MrBeast Financial". Per the trademark application, MrBeast Financial will be a downloadable application for mobile devices which will aim to do the following: - Banking services - Short-term cash advances - Cryptocurrency exchange services - Investment bank services - Investment management service - Consumer lending services - Insurance services - Financial advisory services - Consultancy services - Financial planning services - Financial education wellness services This is excellent news as I have always personally wanted to take financial advice (especially regarding cryptocurrency) from a borderline sociopathic YouTube content creator. I am so excited I am calling my bank this afternoon to liquidate my retirement 401k in totality and ensure him and his star-studded team of financial experts expertly invest in the latest shitcoins (I'm going to lose everything in a week)

I’m curious. If you work in cyber security, does the company you work for care about visible tattoos? More specially hands/neck? (Government employees need not respond)

Some guy bought 30 132lbs (60kg) steel anvils on Amazon. Not related to cybersecurity, but this is an important event to the Amazon delivery driver dropping off 3,960lbs (1,800kg) of steel at someones front door
