@larry0x For casual light gaming, why not. For enthousiasts, no. HDR, anti-cheat engines, softwares for managing gaming devices/mods, ultra-wide resolution fixes, nvidia advanced settings (like dldsr)... are missing on Linux.

@PendulumFlow $ETH is not only a gas token, its value is the only thing than can secure the blockchain consensus. You want the value to be up only to have a stable/growing # of staked assets. Actually a stable store of value would be a threat for the applications running on top of it.

So why would we want a gas token like $ETH to compete with applications for investment capital? To do so will starve the applications of funding If instead $ETH was a stable store of value with an elastic supply then through staking you could get a small return for a small risk.

Unpopular opinion: 🦇🔊🚫 A deflationary gas token is foolish. A gas token should have a dynamic supply that is coded based on demand which leads to fairly stable pricing. Let me explain why this is self-evident 🧵 1/5
