I reached out to many overseas travel agencies that cater to visitors to Japan, asking whether they would consider including our café as part of their Japan sightseeing itineraries. Unfortunately, every single agency gave essentially the same response: “Why would anyone come all the way to Japan just to visit a British-style maid café? At the very least, you should be serving Japanese tea. Hahaha…” So please, especially if you’re from the UK or another country abroad, come visit our café.

@hiroshimilano Having your own language and making sure people can speak it is a great filter so only highly motivated and smart people can live in your country

@FrostedAnvil88 @ShadowbanSlam @ShitpostRock2 No its not, e.g. all the modern gacha games with billion dollar budgets still have absolutely atrocious english voice acting They shouldn't be done in english at all if they can't be bothered getting it right, the JP voices sound consistently good

@ShadowbanSlam @ShitpostRock2 In any modern game English is better or at least equal to JP voice acting. Anyone who says otherwise is a biased JP purist clown.

@ShadowbanSlam @ShitpostRock2 Devil May Cry 4/5 (3 was EN only) It basically comes down to if it was designed with english in mind or if it was an afterthought Not sure if dragonball z counts but for whatever reason even though the english isn't particularly great its still preferable to the JP version

The direction ZZZ’s story is taking is really interesting, going from a main character who was afraid to enter the Hollows and would panic and run from everything, to now having our Proxy willingly step in every time and face danger head on. It’s funny that Billy was there in both situations.

@JordanMossy @boltondynamics The industry isn't a blob, the studios that are either failing or publically owned and trending down are the ones firing people It's never been easier to make a game we are currently seeing a return to meritocracy as the market self-corrects

@boltondynamics Ironically the industry is making more money each year on year still despite the huge layoffs and job vacancy reduction. I'd argue most of the people causing these bad decisions are still there

THE APPLE APP STORE IS DROWNING IN AI SLOP people are treating the App Store like a Medium blog spitting out apps one after another. All with zero users and $0 revenue. Apple reviews that used to take hours are now stretching into WEEKS and even months > more than 550k apps were submitted just last year, highest in a decade.

@tigawanna @michael_kove @shiri_shh Everything boils down to incentives, slop apps are spammed because their creators are trying to make 5cents from ads or scam people When you make sure they will lose money or can't afford to get their app put up only serious people who actually believe in their work will apply

AI companies keep asking me to do YouTube ads. I keep replying with outrageous $ figures, just to see how deep their pockets are. Don't worry, I'd never *actually* accept one. Anyhoo, let's see if "Lovart AI" will pay me $15k for a 1-min ad. (Again, don't worry, I won't do it.)

@SandyofCthulhu I don’t care about sex and violence I care about a good story! A good story smothered in a healthy gravy of sex and violence preferably, but a good story is the most important imo
