A 21-year-old young girl, Londy Mpofu, has gone missing after leaving home on Thursday. She told her mother she was going to visit friends while her mother was at work. Later that day, her mother received a call from someone named Ndiya, who said Londy was safe and had gone to look for a job, promising she would return on Friday. However, she never came back. When the family tried to call Ndiya again that evening, her phone was no longer reachable. To make matters worse, Londy left her own phone at home, so there has been no direct way to contact her. She lives in Reservoir Hills, and the last information linked her to Morningside. The family is now concerned and asking for help in locating her.

Tinmyne Police in Limpopo have launched a major search operation after a 2-year-old girl, Omphile Sethole, was allegedly kidnapped from her home in Ga-Mabuela village during the early hours of Saturday, 02 May 2026. According to police, the child’s 52-year-old grandmother woke up at around 02:00 to go to the bathroom and took Omphile with her before returning to bed. When she woke again at approximately 06:00, the toddler was missing and a window in the room had been found open. Family members and neighbours immediately searched the surrounding area but were unable to find the child, prompting them to alert police. Cases of housebreaking and kidnapping have since been opened, while officers continue searching for both the missing toddler and the unknown suspect. At the time of her disappearance, Omphile was wearing a pink jersey and black tights. Limpopo Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe said all available resources had been mobilised to locate the child and bring her home safely. A family in Alex is urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating their 16-year-old daughter, Lesedi Leshabane, who has gone missing under concerning circumstances. According to her parents, Lesedi was last seen on 29 April 2026 at around 17:00 when she left home. She briefly returned the following day, 30 April, at approximately 11:00, but later ran away again and has not been seen since. The situation has raised serious concerns for her safety after she allegedly made threats about ending her life before disappearing. It is further suspected that Lesedi may be in the company of a 30-year-old Nigerian man believed to be driving a red Toyota Starlet, described as a stanced vehicle and locally known as “68 Hero.” The family is pleading with anyone who may have information about her whereabouts to come forward.
