@QueenMoub

It’s only a cruel world because we allow it. It doesn’t have to be like this. ❄️.

For me, social media has become a 21st century ephemeral diary. Not the old kind that stays hidden away. These are reasoned fragments of how I see the world right now, dropped into a space where anyone can find them, fight them, scroll past them, or silently... 1 of 2

@SangitaMyska The 'right to exist' debate would have faded if Israel had stayed within 1949 lines or negotiated borders. Israel perpetuates existential talks because of settlement expansion and fragmentation of Palestine. The real question should be, 'Does Israel have the right to expansion?'

@GuntherEagleman @C_3C_3 @KathleenRo31672 When billionaires start paying government workers directly, that's not heroism, it's one step closer to socialism, as the cycle almost completes itself and we officially enter late stage capitalism.

What Elon has offered to cover… ~65,000 TSA Employees. Average weekly gross pay is ~$1,000 per employee. Add in benefits and total taxpayer cost is ~$155 million per week. I never want to hear another Leftist talk about Elon’s money and what he should do with it ever again.

@C_3C_3 Assuming $200million per day for 2 weeks, compared to his worth. That would be the equivalent of the average American paying less than $200. Isn't it nice that Musk channels his inner socialist, 'from each according to his ability' for the workers in need?

@ActualAmericans @rmlunn @ImBreckWorsham Hey dummy, read the comments. This oil was already on ships at sea. We didn't buy it. We lifted sanctions on it so it could be sold into the market. The Iranian people can use the money and it eases the strain on the market.

Yes, it's a bit like having men on a panel discussing issues exclusively affecting women, like in Sharia courts, isn't it? British Muslims are those who have accepted and adopted our British open and libertarian cultural behaviours and traditions. British Muslims are those who do not impose their own cultural behaviours on us against our consent. That excludes you Mr Hasan.

@joni_askola Jeff Bezos — worth $234 billion — is spending $100B to automate 600,000 workers out of existence. Not just warehouses. Factories. Globally. Another oligarch hollowing out jobs while pocketing the productivity gains. Workers built Amazon. They won't share in what comes next.

Over the last few years, American tech oligarchs have become the greatest argument against their own existence. The sheer scale of their erratic behavior and political interference proves that extreme wealth concentration is a structural threat to society

@scopesclassroom @clashreport The 'right to exist' debate would have likely faded away if Israel had stayed within 1949 lines or negotiated borders. Yet Israel perpetuates the existential talks because of ongoing settlement expansion and fragmentation of Palestine. Does Israel have the right to expansion?

It’s like saying “is the sky blue?” And responding “well define your terms!! What do you mean by sky? And by blue??” It’s pedantic and avoids the responsibility of the practical results of your worldview. “Right to exist” isn’t a legal or moral phrase; it derives from the incessant and continued project to legally and nobly destroy a nation-state based on premises that no other nation-state faces. The answer to “right to exist” is wrapped in the same argument that Israel has a right to defend itself against existential threats as any nation would- but only one nation must. To answer TC: Britain does have a right to exist. So does Nigeria and Brazil and Cuba and Morocco and Egypt. If attacked, none of those nations would be told not to defend or stand down. But one nation is told that! Therefore, the phrase “right to exist” is invoked to suggest that Israel, too, can do what all other nations would do.

Encyclopedia Britannica and Merriam Webster have just sued Sam Altmans OpenAI. These legendary publishers accuse OpenAI of stealing nearly 100000 copyrighted articles and dictionary entries to train ChatGPT. The AI now copies their content freely while crushing their website traffic and revenue that built centuries of real knowledge. This is not innovation or progress. This is blatant industrial scale theft from the guardians of human knowledge. Sam Altman preaches ethics and safety while building his empire on plagiarism and lies. The lawsuits are only getting started.

@SangitaMyska Cultural, humanitarian values aren't exclusive to Christianity, they're in Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, etc., and in non-believers too. Many atheists live them better than some professed Christians. I'm not Muslim but, Eid Mubarak to all everywhere who celebrate the end of Ramadan.

The term ‘Judeo-Christian’ is principally a political slogan created in, and imported from, the US. It’s used by hard right Evangelical Christians who’ve aligned themselves with hard right Israeli politicians. Given Nigel Farage is America First (not Britain First) it’s of no surprise he’s using it. It’s what plastic patriots do.
