@QuentinCassidy6 @wholemars I Agree the look is polarizing, but many do not know WHY it looks this way - they could not stamp the panels since the metal would break the presses.

Tesla registered just 4,186 Cybertrucks in the first quarter of 2026, down from 7,140 in the first quarter of 2025. Sad that the incredible technology in this vehicle is not in the hands of more people. Overall Tesla vehicle registrations in Q1 were down from 130,389 last year to 105,436 this year.

@g35don40 @wholemars "Ugly" is obviously subjective but it's objectively a polarizing design that doesn't have mass appeal.

People say the Cyber truck is "ugly" it is not. It is a simple design that is unique on the road. Simple folded panels because the metal is so tough its bulletproof and impossible to stamp into typical truck fenders. Kids go absolutely crazy for it. It’s become this generation’s “Slug Bug.” My kids and their friends constantly yell “Cybertruck!” and point them out during carpool. Here’s why I love this truck: 1. It’s a tank — no paint to scratch, wax, or worry about 2. Faster than my sports car 3. Turns on a dime with four-wheel steering (no more backing up to U-turn) 4. Can haul 11,000 pounds 5. Built-in electric tonneau cover secures items in the bed 6. Automatically lowers for easy entry and exit 7. Saved my fridge and freezer for 3 days during a recent blackout with its AC outlets and massive battery 8. Adjustable air suspension that lets me customize the ride or level the bed on uneven ground 9. Insanely good stereo with 15 speakers and 2 subwoofers And with FSD, it becomes my personal chauffeur. This truck isn’t just practical — it’s genuinely fun and makes me feel like I’m driving in the future.

@MiniRetireMatt It obviously depends, but for many the answers is no. Portfolio construction to earn 7% means some risk that may not be appropriate. Also wouldn't suggest figuring your entire portfolio return as available yearly income.

A $1M portfolio yielding ~7% generates ~$70,000 per year The median full-time American worker earns ~$64,220 per year Still think $1M isn’t enough to retire?

@farzyness Decimate the bus industry? I don't think we need to wait for a future product to do that.

There's an UNBELIEVABLE use case for regional trips in the US that will decimate air travel and buses. Fully autonomous Tesla Robovans outfitted as long-haul first-class "buses". These would run routes similar to Amtrak or Greyhounds, but with First-Class-like comfort, amenities, and space. The price per seat of these can be the same as a bus, but FAR more comfortable and FAR more luxurious. Can obviously optimize the interior for the best configuration but MAN. This would absolutely KILL.

@JonErlichman Agree with the premise, but I think the statistics are actually quite a bit more extreme. For example, the odds of winning at blackjack over a year would be something less than 5%

12,000 studies on Ivermectin. ZERO studies looking at Ebola. They know Ebola causes a cytokine storm. They know RNA viruses work on similar pathways. But they haven’t researched it. Interestingly.... other peer reviewed research by Zhang et al shows how Ivermectin targets Cytokine Storms. And Dr. Kylie Wagstaff, author of anti-parasitic drug research said Ivermectin “works on a pathway we have innately inside ourselves, that a lot of viruses try to target”. Dr. John Campbell can’t help but be left disappointed with the World Health Organization (WHO). Cases missed weeks before they declared an emergency.... and no consideration of a “life saving agent”. He knows exactly what he would though.

🚀 SpaceX - 30% Retail I hear some wondering "what Elon does to loyal Tesla investors". The answer is much simpler than you think: the 30% retail allocation is a "never been seen before" event. Now the big question is whether the banks will make this happen. From Casual Finance, over on YT, who is anything but an Elon fan: youtu.be/-X6YzlY_8tM?si…

@harryfisherEMTP Asking a grieving patient if they got the COVID vaccine is wildly inappropriate. That's not a clinical question — it's pushing an agenda on someone in crisis. Your job is to assess and treat, not interrogate people about their vaccine history.

Patient- my mom just died from cancer. It happened so fast. Now I have cancer too. Paramedic/me- I am so sorry. Did you both take the Covid shots? Pt- “I don’t want to answer that question!” Paramedic/me- ok. Sorry for your loss. ________________ Typically the patients answer me kindly. Sometimes they get angry when I bring it up. But most people now days just have a look of acknowledgement and regret. God bless

Google is now prioritizing AI results instead of user-driven websites. Most people seem to be unhappy with this. But I remember when Apple removed the headphone jack, and back then, everyone was equally upset. Today, no one bats an eye. Genuinely curious - it seems like this was coming sooner or later. No one says “hold on let me google it” anymore…they say “hold on let me ask AI.” Google search is used less as less, it’s only a matter of time until everything is searched and found through AI. To me, this change was going to happen at some point. It just happened to be starting now. Am I wrong to think this way? Is there something I’m missing?

Can you run without music? Not “yes, if I had to.” I mean no music. No podcast. No audiobook. No distraction. Just breathing, footsteps, traffic, regret, and your own brain talking too much. Be honest: • Music every run = needs the beat • Podcasts = running with company • Audiobooks = productive suffering • Easy runs only = balanced • Silence on race day = locked in • No headphones ever = suspiciously stable • Headphones die = run ruined Music can save a run. But silence tells the truth. Can you run without it?

@Gfilche @Tesla I'm not sure, I personally think throwing everything into Cybercab is not utilizing the technology value at this moment and premature. I think the assumed paradigm shift away from individual vehicle ownership is a tough nut to crack with a very long timeline.

You might look at this chart of @Tesla Revenue and say they have lost momentum or plateaued 🚫 The truth is they are just getting started. This year $TSLA will break $100B in revenue and never look back The technology that Tesla is developing has advanced incredibly since 2023, even if revenue hasn't shown it Financials are lumpy and don't show the full story Tesla isn't optimizing for short term financial results, they are focused on building technology that will matter decades from now That is why they are spending a record $25B on CAPEX this year They are setting up for a massive new growth wave that will take the company to $500B in revenue then $Ts and beyond It will take time, but as FSD + @Robotaxi & @Tesla_Optimus begin to hit the mainstream we are going to see growth that Wall Street has never seen before. It's going to be glorious So for now, I enjoy watching this nascent Tesla revenue chart, as it slowly it begins to stir and a financial titan emerges If you told me that my #1 stock holding (98% of my public equites portfolio is in $TSLA) would be valued at 15X revenue with negative growth and 20% gross margins I'd say WTF ... I need to sell lol But in reality, I'm holding, sleeping as sound as ever knowing the technology Tesla is developing today is getting more valuable by the second. Maybe this conviction only comes when you've been long a stock for 14 years 😂 Eventually the financials will catch up 😌 When do you think @Tesla's revenue growth begins to accelerate??

This is ridiculous. And track and field gives their officials too much power. Imagine if an NFL or NBA ref could negate all points scored in the last 10 minutes of play off a single infraction. That's essentially what we do in track. There are no minor penalties. It's dumb.
HighSchoolOT@HighSchoolOT

Mallard Creek boys track and field was disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct after winning the 4x400 relay in the final event of the day. Had the result stayed, the Mavericks would have won the team state championship. Instead, they remained in second place.
