@thrishul Literally every single sector footpath is illegally parked with cars on them. Policing is restricted to just main roads. Looks like car ownership rates here are 120%+

Chandigarh is a low density town built to resemble a typical car centric American suburb. There are no footpaths/cycle lanes within the sectors outside of the main roads, but cars parked on both sides of the road. ZERO mixed zoning means one has to walk 20-30 minutes to grab basic essentials from a kirana/potti kadai. @letsblinkit loves Chandigarh for this reason. The car drivers are arrogant (not to extent of NCR), but still bad. The urban sprawl makes it difficult to navigate the entire city on cycle.
