The longer the memorials of the South stay kidnapped, the more likely that they'll deteriorate in condition. It's been six years since they were stolen, who knows what condition they'll be in when they're returned. They need to give them back RIGHT NOW. All of them.

I may have figured this out. The shape is perfect for carrying thread before spindles. One dodecahedron could carry a ton of thread in a very compact form and one bag could hold many colors, easily spooled out then tied off when done. The holes kept it from being too heavy.

@HemmerleinLee I've bought many fruit trees on sale from Walmart and other big box stores and they've all done well. Just make sure they'll do well in your growing zone, and I always pull the tree from the pot and have a look at the roots. If it's root bound or has a bad graft, I pass.

I stopped in Walmart early this morning in order to look at their plants and tree selections. I saw they had some fruit trees on clearance some peaches and apples. What are you guys' opinions on buying fruit trees from Walmart.

Red Buckeye of Missouri. I have a few on the farm this one survived our house fire. Did you grow up and be told to keep a buckeye in your pocket for luck.

@HemmerleinLee You can't put a price tag on everything. Being able to feed your family without relying on anybody else is priceless. And I think the food I grow tastes so much better than store bought because of all the sweat I pour over them as they're growing.

I planted some potatoes and onions over the weekend. Do you bother with planting these types of plants when you can buy them so cheaply.
