@NotTheJoeMarino I really think you have to bring in a legit center if you’re letting Tuch walk. The young guys have been great, but I’m not sure I’m ready to rely fully on production from Benson, Ostlund, and Helenius. Not saying they won’t be great, but we have an opportunity to win now.

@PatrickMoranTB Helenius is a very good prospect and was great in the playoffs with 10 games of NHL experience. Mrtka is a great d prospect. And you want Quinn who took a huge step since December, and really elevated his game. If Sabres are smart they keep these young guys around

@DestinyBulletn Everyone is missing the point. If we don’t support marathon. Bungie will not have the funding to make D3. Think of it as an investment. We need to play the long game with this and that means supporting Bungie however we can to increase the chance of making D3.

@BillTCB That is the right mentality. Sabres have the players to replace Tuch. Doan and Benson are great defensively and offensively. Ostlund and Helenius looked great this year. And then we get Kulich back next year.

If they sign Byram, Tuch is gone. That’s been my mindset, zero clue if that’s the right mentality, but that’s what I’m going with for now. Byram is hot and cold, but he does seem to be a non-lettered leader of the Sabres.
