Not sure how to articulate how grateful I’m feeling right now, so I’ll just type a bunch of shit and hit post… I disappeared for a few years. I didn’t know if I’d ever play shows again. As time went on, I realized that I missed it. Not just playing shows, but I missed the journey. I missed being able to meet new people, mingle with like-minded individuals and share my musical perspective with others. At a certain point, one of my best friends @killthenoise reached out to offer some words of wisdom. I won’t go into it much, but he is one of the only people in my life that threw me a life preserver when I needed it the most, and our talks led to the creation of Kill Safari, ultimately. Over a year later, we’ve just completed our first full tour, running support for an artist that I’ve admired for a long time, even before my “break.” This guy, @svddendeath, is exactly the type of person that I’m proud to align myself with. The definition of “good people”… all I can offer is a very sincere thank you to him, his team, the other amazing artists involved and every single person that came to a show while we were on the Heretic Tour. It was truly unbelievable. Then, playing a sold out Mission Ballroom w/ @Tapebbeats in Denver last night to end this months run? Unreal. Thanks to him and his team for having us out. Yet another example of people I’m proud to be around.💜 This is already in tl;dr territory, so I’ll wrap it up by saying thanks to you all for letting me come back and participate again. I plan on giving it my all and enjoying every second of this journey moving forward.
