That reminds me of an SR-71 Blackbird that nearly landed at Millard Airport in Omaha, NE, on its 3,800-foot runway about 40 years ago. In 1985 or 1986, an SR-71 pilot—likely during a ceremonial flyover tied to nearby Offutt AFB—mistakenly lined up for and performed a high-speed low pass over Millard Airport instead of Offutt. Millard is a smaller general aviation airport about 10 nautical miles west of Offutt. Both have runways oriented 12/30, which contributed to the mix-up. Millard's runway is only around 3,800 feet long—far too short for an actual SR-71 landing, given its high landing speeds (~200 mph). The Blackbird did not attempt to land there; it was just a low pass or flyover at the wrong airport.

One of the historic footage- C-17 accidentally landed at the small civilian airport Peter O. Knight, Florida, with a 3,000-foot runway, instead of MacDill AFB, which has an 11,000-foot runway. Here's the short takeoff video, absolutely unbelievable!
