Removing Desmond, Shaun, Rebecca and William Miles, from any of the originals would by happenstance kill the franchise,
Ubisoft has no footing with the animus hub for the originals because the whole "EGO makes everything into lies"
Honestly, they can't even make a new game without getting shots fired at them, and I'm generally telling the truth here.
You see ever since they can't keep decent writers or head creative story direction, they've failed to be consistent
Assassins Creed was known for its modern day protagonist, or protagonists, because they would be the whole reason you entered the animus to relive these experiences.
People are forgetting the bleeding effect was used as a training module, and the whole REASON Why is because of the modern conflict with the Assassins and Templars, along with the fight for control of the Isu artifacts.

If Ubisoft removes the original modern-day story and Desmond Miles from the Assassin's Creed 1 Remake, Ezio Trilogy remakes, and AC 3 Remake, replacing everything with the Animus Hub, would you accept it, or would you want the original MD story included in the remakes?

Ubisoft says doing remakes saves money and makes profit.
- Cost less to develop by reusing existing assets and technology.
- Need less marketing since players already know and trust the franchise.
- Can still be sold at premium prices despite lower production costs.
Ubisoft says this doesn't mean it's abandoning new games, but remakes are becoming a much more important part of its strategy.

I love Black Flag Resynced. It's one of my favourite games this year. But please don't be fooled by thinking they are back. It's a remake of a beloved old game from the old Ubisoft. Most of the new content in the game shows you the current quality standards, but because the existing material is so strong, it's easy for people to overlook it. They'll only be back once they deliver new high quality games. Keyword: "NEW".
Also we can't forget how they treated the Barcelona studio. Worked on the underwater sections of the game and got laid off as a reward.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is one of the best games of the year and Ubisoft's best game in the last five years. Finally the OG Ubisoft is back with a banger.
