After her daughter received treatment and recovered, the thankless woman filed a complained that she felt “victimised and racially discriminated against.” CONSEQUENCES: A Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service hearing found the doctor guilty of misconduct. He was initially suspended for 9 months. In 2026, Dr Wolverton was struck off the medical register (effectively sacked/banned from practising). All because he was concerned about the health of a child.
