So if you go to uscis.gov/newsroom/alert… you will see the memo regarding the USCIS benefits pause. It says last updated 3/30. Well, guess what? It changed sometime after 4/27 and I'm guessing it was probably today given the horribly shameful news that researchers who were working on the pancreatic cancer AI diagnosis breakthrough have been caught up in the illegal USCIS benefits pause. The second screenshot below is what the paragraph with a new physician exception looked like two days ago.

@ImmNoaman I feel the balance here is when they need you they finds you at their side. I really don’t know how much time family needs- I feel if it excessive then it may affect the family negatively.

I spend 10 hours/week/year for 2 years in encampments. Being homeless is scary due to the lack of safety and control afforded to unhoused people. Number of times I’ve personally felt unsafe in 1,040 hours of outreach = 0. My unhoused patients consistently look out for me.

Alcohol Ketoacidosis occurs when a malnourished patient stops drinking, and falling ethanol levels stimulate ketogenesis. Ethanol itself suppresses gluconeogenesis as well, making hypoglycemia worse.
