Evolving news about "medical physician" exception to PM-602-0192/4. Gov attorney has revealed that USCIS has lifted the adjudication hold as to I-485 applications for medical physicians, but not as to I-130 petitions or I-131 applications. Waiting for clarification on I-765s.

Mr. @SecMullinDHS, as you step into your new position I ask you to provide particular consideration to the status of Iranian students and professionals in the United States who may be at risk of immigration complications due to Presidential Proclamations 10949 and 10998. Many of these individuals fled the Islamic Republic’s because they believe in freedom, democracy, and the values this country stands for. They are also contributing to the United States every day. They arrived in this country legally, followed the rules, respect this country and its system of law and order and are among the most dedicated and accomplished contributors to American society. I ask that you and your department consider these factors, plus the personal and political risk many of these young people would face if sent back to the criminal regime in Iran. America’s concerns for its national security and the threat posed by the Islamic regime to the homeland are entirely justified. To that end, my office stands ready to provide you and your colleagues with regime operatives, propaganda agents, and influence networks for investigation and removal from the United States. Thank you for your consideration.

#LiftTheHold

So if you go to uscis.gov/newsroom/alert… you will see the memo regarding the USCIS benefits pause. It says last updated 3/30. Well, guess what? It changed sometime after 4/27 and I'm guessing it was probably today given the horribly shameful news that researchers who were working on the pancreatic cancer AI diagnosis breakthrough have been caught up in the illegal USCIS benefits pause. The second screenshot below is what the paragraph with a new physician exception looked like two days ago.

بچه ها من نیویورکم اما دانشجو نیستم ! شاید بهتره کسی که دانشجو هست توی فیلد خاص بیاد و این کارو بکنه و البته اکی باشه که با رسانه مصاحبه کنه!

While Iran is under war and repression, regime affiliates freely live in the U.S. with green cards and even citizenship, laundering money and promoting the IRGC. Reviewing these cases is reasonable. But don’t punish the wrong people. Thousands of Iranian students and legal immigrants, many who fled the regime, are now at risk because of the USCIS pause. Protect them. #USCISPause #LiftTheHold

Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States. Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan." This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States. The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.

The U.S. State Department announced the detention of Qasem Soleimani’s relative and her daughter. According to this report, Hamidah Soleimani Afshar and her daughter are currently in U.S. immigration custody. Until recently, they were living in the United States on green cards, enjoying the safety and freedoms denied to millions of Iranians. On social media as you see, she openly promoted the ideology of the IRGC, a designated terrorist organization and praised violence while calling America the “Great Satan.” The message is clear: The United States must not become a safe haven for those who support a regime that represses its own people while spreading hatred against this country. But one red line must remain clear. I want to directly address Secretary Marco Rubio and the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security: Do not put Iranian students and professionals at risk. Many Iranians in the United States are not part of this regime, they have fled it. They came legally, respect the law, and contribute to this country. Do not treat them as the threat they escaped. Make a clear distinction: Protect the victims. Hold the regime’s enablers accountable. Watch my investigative reports on the luxury lives of relatives of Islamic Republic officials in America 👇 👇👇
