Candace Owens telling Americans not to join the U.S. military is one of the most disgraceful takes I’ve seen in a long time. Let’s get something straight. Every man and woman who joins the United States military does so voluntarily. Nobody drags them out of their homes. They sign up knowing exactly what service means: sacrifice, duty, and defending their country if necessary. And because of those people, Candace Owens gets to sit comfortably in a studio chair, speak freely to millions of people, and cash checks while doing it. The freedom she uses to attack the military exists because generations of Americans fought and died defending it. Long before Israel existed. Long before modern politics. Long before social media influencers discovered outrage as a business model. American soldiers fought and died in: • The Revolutionary War • The Civil War • World War I • World War II • Korea • Vietnam They fought so the United States could remain free and sovereign. Not for Israel. Not for any foreign country. For America. Telling young Americans not to serve their country while you profit from the freedom they protect isn’t bravery. It’s not patriotism. It’s not courage. It’s cowardice wrapped in a microphone. Criticizing government policy is fair game. That’s part of a free society. But telling Americans there is “no honor” in military service? That spits in the face of every family who buried a son or daughter under a folded American flag. The men and women who serve don’t need lectures from commentators chasing clicks. They already proved their character the moment they raised their right hand and said: “I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States.” That oath carries more honor than a thousand viral hot takes ever will.
