@zavaindar The crypto world is sloppily re-learning all the tradfi mistakes. Segregation of client assets and accurate, near-real-time reports lie at the heart of risk management. You shouldn't be playing with billions if you can't do those basic things. There is nothing new under the sun.

@zavaindar From the WSJ editorial board: SBF said he’s “still fleshing out every detail” but noted that “poor internal labeling of bank-related accounts meant that I was substantially off on my sense of users’ margin.” He also said he overestimated liquidity by multiple factors.

So many of my friends graduating post GFC in 08 & 09 lost career footings early & never recovered. Best advice for those graduating right now is go to grad school (whatever you’re passionate about) or be an entrepreneur. The latter only if you have insane fire and are technical
