@RMurathime
Bitcoin||Founder of @BitBiashara || cohort 2 alumn @btc_dada

Today, our community visited the @AfribitKibera community. What we experienced was more than Bitcoin adoption — it was integration. They are not only introducing Bitcoin, but creating physical spaces where young people can learn, express themselves, and build identity — both within and beyond the Bitcoin ecosystem. This is what real, grounded adoption looks like. Beautiful work.

Bitbiashara at the #BitcoinUnconference003⚡ From the stage to the booth: • Our founder @RMurathime on Bitcoin & Economics panel • One of our Merchant sharing real experience • At our booth Bitcoin for business practically. But something deeper happened… Our community met a wider network of like-minded people. You could see the shift— From silent understanding… to confident expression. They didn’t just learn Bitcoin. They spoke it. Lived it. Shared it. Adoption is happening. ⚡

We learn new things everyday! Glad you got to be there.

#spedn Bliss hair salon Winniesalon@blink.sv btcmap.org/merchant/26698 For @blessedgal93989, accepting Bitcoin has opened the door to a whole new wave of little customers from our Nextgen project. Now, the children earning sats can confidently walk into her salon and get their hair done for less than 2,000 sats. It’s more than just payments—it’s empowerment, inclusion, and a growing circular economy in action. ✨

Cohort 10 began with 150 students. 90 sat for the exams, and 70 met the pass mark. Today, we celebrate the new plebs⚡️. Over the past 8 weeks, this cohort committed to a rigorous learning journey that required consistency, discipline, and a willingness to engage with concepts that are not always easy to grasp. This was not passive participation, it demanded focus, late nights, active learning, and the courage to step into unfamiliar territory. What these students have achieved goes beyond passing an exam. They now hold a deeper understanding of Bitcoin, a stronger awareness of financial systems, and a foundation that positions them to engage more meaningfully with the future of money. We are especially proud to recognize our Top 10 students, who demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the program. Representing Kenya, Nigeria, Malawi, and Zambia, they reflect both the strength and diversity of this cohort. Cohort 10 is a clear reminder of what happens when women are given access to knowledge and choose to fully commit to it. The results are not just visible, they are impactful. We celebrate this milestone, and we look forward to what comes next. Zyll Terryline, @Angel_of_Good, @BlessingAmala_M, Chikondi Nanyangwe, Eeman Yusuf, @Julimarco7, Marianne Panchanya, @WachenjeNS, @q_uwero and @steppepulse Congratulations once more to cohort 10! #impact #cohort10 #womeninfinance #bitcoin #bitcoindada

#spedn Haven food court Haven@blink.sv btcmap.org/merchant/26695 Shakillah 💫 She earns sats from merchants and community members through Shakillah Errands — a business she started after thinking ahead: what happens to the sats merchants receive? Now here’s the magic… She spends those same sats back with the very merchants who pay her. That’s the power of a circular economy 🔁 She gets paid… to spend. Get it? 😉

#spedn Richland general shop richlandgeneralshop@blink.sv btcmap.org/merchant/28405 A Nextgen parent, introduced to Bitcoin through another parent in our community, is now actively earning sats by taking on small tasks. She’s not just earning, she’s participating in a growing circular economy, using her sats to shop with local merchants within our network. From learning to earning, and now spending 🤩this is what real community empowerment looks like.
