To health educators & promoters, epidemiogists, nutritionists & all health professionals, I am really worried. And you too should be. Why? The battle against non- Communicable diseases is far from being won. The dominant but mistaken thinking that being heavy, overweight & obese= being healthy and on the other hand being slim & small-framed = being unhealthy is a serious cause for alarm. To the contrary, a lean body= a strong one 💪. Is this hard to understand? Weight loss can only be worrying if it's unintentional,unexplainable, and most times due to malnutrition or an involuntary matabolic syndrome associated with underlying chronic sickness. BUT if weight loss is intentional & achieved through measures such as dieting or slimming that involve reducing one's total body mass through calorie reduction, increased physical activity, or lifestyle changes its nothing else BUT an act to celebrate. It is one of the best health targets/outcomes every rational & disciplined person should set and aim to achieve. Yes, looking lean or slim may worry some that may not be used with a person's new looks, BUT it is all ok. Obesity has never been a badge of honor! So dear friends sending me messages of "quick recovery"( and especially those of you doing so out of love, not mockery), please take heart , I am not sick. My new looks are intentional. ANKOLE CATTLE / SOUTH AFRICA PERSONALITY ; @danielf_naude @danielf_naude heads the association of Ankole long horned cattle owners in South Africa where President Rwamaphosa also subscribes as a passionate member. @danielf_naude recently exhibited Ankole long horned cattle at the just concluded G20 summit that had many presidents attend. The pictures you saw were taken in Uganda at Mr. Rutahigwas farm in Ankole Uganda, working together with his sons and daughter @RR007788 , @RutahBudidi and @TumukundSam. @danielf_naude close to @RR007788 partly because he came and spent time on their farm filming and doing photography which is was fantastic. @danielf_naude has done a super job in marketing and branding of Ankole long horn cattle across the world by the way. @danielf_naude also owns Ankole brand of drinks( beer and wine) like you can see below. Interestingly some Ugandans have started touring Ankole long horn cattle on a farm in Cape Town( South Africa) as they enjoy South African wine. Naye Mwe! @danielf_naude actually bought one of the big bulls on Mr. Rutahigwas farm at usd 15k and yes, in South Africa Ankole long horned cattle are very expensive! Ankole cattle are just one example of how sleepy we are on taking advantage of God given opportunities. We are being shown the way. Just imagine South Africans had our weather, our primates, our mountains, our Nile, our lake Victoria, just imagine! @danielf_naude has played a very key role in branding and marketing of Ankole long horned cattle and I can’t wait engaging him about how he did. He has won awards too!

We reviewed the full range of the India-South Africa partnership, especially in boosting linkages of commerce, culture, investment and diversifying cooperation in technology, skilling, AI, critical minerals and more.
