This is great news but as we've all seen rules & laws are only as good as those enforcing them. There's millions of illegals on welfare fraudulently & with sanctuary States protecting them. It just feels like another uphill battle to get the departments involved with welfare to do their jobs as stated in this new bill. Sorry if I sound like Debbie downer, I just haven't seen anyone held accountable yet for all of the billions of fraud in Minnesota etc.

A simple test for immigrants is: would you enjoy working them. If so, they would be an asset to America.

No one thinks that all legal immigrants are the same. On balance, legal immigrants are good for America, but there certainly are exceptions. My view: We should take in more people who love America, will assimilate, and will be net contributors to our society. And we should stop taking in people who fail to meet these criteria.
