At 1:13 AM MST, Phoenix Sky Harbor recorded 0.01" of rainfall, which is the airport's first measurable rainfall of this year's monsoon season. The rainfall also ended Phoenix Sky Harbor's 19th-longest dry streak on record. Out here in the desert, dust dominates rain! 🤘

Blowing dust is moving NW along an OFB near Eloy AZ. Pretty dense and will persist as it moves over agriculture in the valley. #azwx @NWSTucson @NWSPhoenix

Here is the May 2026 Climate Summary! 😁 May this year came in warmer than normal. It was also tied as the driest May on record, but it is not uncommon to receive no rain in May. This was the 67th time Phoenix recorded 0.00" or a trace. Monsoon season starts June 15th!
