🚨 Absolute madness in the US right now as the Uruguay national team gets pulled to the side of the road and treated like straight-up suspects. ​They literally just landed for the World Cup and security is already ripping their luggage open on the tarmac with sniffer dogs everywhere ​Qatar and Russia hosted without this level of paranoia but the "land of the free" is handing out pure humiliation to Global South athletes before a single match is even played, the double standards are screaming.

@GrantPaulsen As a Clemson fan I can confirm that he’s a low maintenance, hard working, team first guy. Have no idea how his skills will translate to the nfl but he will put in the work.

I talked with someone who spent time around Antonio Williams: He’s a big fan of the person and the teammate WSH drafted. Said he’s got zero diva WR to him. Wants to play ball and isn’t going to seek attention. My kind of pro. Sounds like he’ll fit in well with Terry McLaurin.

Very interested in the precedent Miami has set going forward - what if mid majors dont actually have to schedule good teams? What if you just schedule a bunch of trash and win your games? This year has told us you can get the court of public opinion on your side.

There is always a business/ financial angle to just about any story. My favorite part of the Dabo presser was when they asked Luke Ferrelli to give them his text messages and he said via his agent ‘ if you give me another $1,000,000’ I will give you everything and help you turn them in. Clemson declined. Ferrelli then left. Lesson- you don’t trade assets for moral or abstract victories. You can achieve both is the hope. But it’s not a trade. You trade assets for economics. Full stop. Luke has a bright future in business !
