I am proud to announce our $50M Series A, co-led by @RRE and @Creandum. Last year, we issued nearly $2B of assets onchain, growing 100x within a 9-month period. But those numbers only tell the polished half of the story. Finding organic product-market fit in a relentless, 24/7 industry is anything but easy. Building here requires navigating a complex labyrinth where finance, technology, law, and (to some degree politics) constantly intersect. At @MidasRWA , our mission is to bring financial assets onchain. We are doing this by building infrastructure rooted in the core tenets of liquidity and transparency, to create onchain investment products with actual composability and utility. I believe we are at an inflection point. With the new SEC chair saying that “all markets will be onchain within two years” - a stark contrast to past rhetoric - it opens a clear gateway for institutional and individual capital to come onchain. My personal take, once the war is over, the UAE will do the following 👇 1. Platinum Permanent Residence for people actually aligned with the country in values and economically. Not citizenship, but real long-term residency security. The kind that makes you stay and double down on building. 2. “UAE Inc.” - one company in 3 days and for D100! No more fragmentation. One structure that works across the whole country. Set it up once, operate everywhere. Simple. 3. Even more tax friendliness Ie Foreign income treated as exempt. 4. DMCC Economic Free Zone model gets copied across all Emirates. They proved the model works so well: community, infrastructure, real business activity. Other emirates will replicate. The regulatory landscape for Real-World Assets (RWAs) continues to improve. Notably, the Hong Kong SFC has approved two RWA tokenization products for DL Holdings, sending a strong positive signal and fostering a highly favorable environment for sectoral growth. 🇭🇰 Hong Kong On Jan 1, 2026, the new Basel III capital framework for crypto-asset exposures officially took effect. Tokenized traditional assets (RWAs) are now classified as Group 1a (low-risk) assets, receiving the same capital treatment as their traditional counterparts. 🇺🇸 United States The SEC has issued its first-ever statement on tokenized securities. Reg D Rule 506(c) → Uncapped capital formation from institutional investors. Reg S → A compliant framework for offshore issuance. Regulatory Sandbox → SEC Chair Atkins announced at ETHDenver the approval of volume-capped on-chain trading for tokenized securities. 🇸🇬 Singapore The MAS published guidelines on the tokenization of capital markets products, establishing a "technology-neutral" principle that prioritizes economic substance over underlying technological formats.
