Thrilled to share our preprint reporting the discovery of a previously unrecognized population of LepR-expressing fast-acting satiety neurons in the hypothalamus ARC. These neurons directly inhibit AGRP neurons, providing a crucial counterbalance. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

I’m excited to share a novel tool, Cal-ID, which performs calcium-dependent proximity labeling to capture molecular events of calcium signaling! We show that Cal-ID can label proteins near active calcium signaling sites in HEK293T cells & mouse neurons. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
