#jeremyVine what is this woman on about regarding wages. I’m a nurse qualified for 2 years. I work mostly unsocial hours and I earn nowhere near that. Ridiculous 😂😂
#JeremyVine all this conversation is highlighting is how Healthcare workers are too important to go on strike but are not important enough to pay properly. We are degree educated people. Once the NHS is gone, it’s gone.
#JeremyVine The harm is already being caused due to chronic underfunding from this dreadful government. What about the harm being caused to the staff? Burnt out and can’t afford to feed their families of heat their homes. Disgusting.
@askryanair@ryanair I logged onto my account to see my flight times have been changed. I have contacted you several times but have been told I am unable to change to an alternative flight until I recieve an email. Why cant you just put us on the earlier flight that's scheduled?
Boris Johnson owes his life to nurses, yet rewarded them with a pathetic 1% pay rise.
He’ll inevitably be shamed into yet another U-turn and they’ll end up getting more.
But let’s not forget how hard he clapped them, then how hard he slapped them in the face.
I cant believe the amount of people I'm seeing truly believing that nurses aren't worth more than a 1% pay rise. Nurses that work endless shifts/shift patterns, see life and death day in day out, care for people at their most vulnerable time, assist in life saving emergencies 1/3
Vaccinated! So relieved! Easy peasy - didn’t feel a thing - thanks so much to all the cheery volunteers and NHS staff who made it SO simple!!
Please please get vaccinated!! We are so lucky to have the opportunity Xxx
@piersmorgan The average nurse salary is £33k by the way. Many of us have lost jobs or not had a pay rise at all. NHS staff do a wonderful job yes but, I don’t expect to give a bricklayer extra cash just because he built a wall. It’s his job.
@jamiewood1991@piersmorgan It's busy in our job every single day. What I will say though is I didn't expect to have to move away from my family and risk my life every single day...Care for unwell people yes and of course there is always an element of risk... Not to the extent of a global pandemic though.
@piersmorgan 1% more than the supermarket workers, who selflessly have put themselves at the front line every single day for us despite the risks, while the majority of nhs workers were stood twiddling their thumbs dancing in Corridors for tik tok...
@WendyBrowning@piersmorgan Pandemic because of the sheer amount of exposure we had to the virus. We signed up to be nurses to help others who are unwell. Yes, that comes with a degree of personal risk but none of us would have forseen the risk being as high as it was.
@WendyBrowning@piersmorgan Its not a case of saying other key workers aren't worthy. The profession has been underpaid for years. We are simply campaigning for ourselves and would be supportive of other professions that follow suit. Naturally our risk was higher than that of other professions during the
