All of that to say, while the ancestry gave me a little sense of knowing what “box” to check off, I still feel lost. Though I can confidentially say my little afro-having, melanated self will not be calling myself white anytime soon. /end

My general breakdown is:
47% Spanish/Portuguese
40% African (mostly west)
8% Indigenous
and a few misc. % …
I got a few interesting rxns when I shared it w friends.
