@RaghavBasu @SkodaIndia Fair point, Raghav. I empathize with the situation, and I agree @SkodaIndia can step in to support customers in such cases of stupidity by their dealers. If calling them out helps drive that accountability, it’s understandable.

Signing a waiver can’t and doesn’t waive Skoda liability. Hire a good lawyer and I pray and hope it will be sorted

@RaghavBasu @SkodaIndia @SkodaIndia is pathetic. Bought a Kushaq last year among 2 others VW cars we have currently. The car goes for a service and comes back with the steering controls not working. Workshop guy talks rudely over the phone. A complaint lodged with the dealer and the company is futile.

@RaghavBasu @SkodaIndia So sad to see this. But the first cardinal mistake is opting for a pick up . had a Skoda and however painful always drop it off and pick it up yrself If you value it just take that extra trouble it’s worth it. dealers must take responsibility too.

@Letsthrottle @SkodaIndia I honestly regret it badly. But I’d urge you to think beyond the pick up service bit - I’m sure there’s so many shady practices that go on which get masked from the consumer. Till when will these institutions be allowed to get away?

I have caught changing new cars disk brake pads by mechanics & selling it to the customers as new. I have caught my car 30k km battery getting changed when out 10 min

So they did a underbelly & exhaust coating & that according to their invoice involves removal of the entire system so maybe it could have happened during that process but I don’t know definitively what could have happened but when I raised a complaint they denied initially saying we don’t know how it could have happened but then they forgot that they sent me a video of the coating which shows the rope tied under the exhaust so now they can’t say they didn’t notice it & now they are saying we are investigating it further.

@RaghavBasu @SkodaIndia Selling is easy but maintaining a good relationship is always difficult. Skoda seems to me as the least coordinated internal team during multiple experiences and it’s never transparent with their customers when it comes to services. They take a feedback without resolution.

@RaghavBasu @SkodaIndia You do realize the amount of running around one has to do to take the dealer to consumer court over this right? Claim insurance, get it repaired and move on. Value mental peace over taking the fight to the dealer in this case.
