But instead of simply making his case to voters, Frank Liberati is challenging Whaley’s affidavit of identity, a move aimed at a trans woman opponent that reeks of a dirty, transphobic political tactic. This is exactly why voting in the primary elections matters. We can not allow someone willing to punch down at trans people to win.
