Bungie has revealed a “multi-year narrative plan” for Marathon. Creative director Julia Nardin explained that the team has the overall story direction mapped out but will keep it flexible to incorporate player feedback She stated, “We know where we want to take the story over the next few years, but I don’t want to say it’s completely ‘locked in’ because it’s important to us that our players be able to help shape it.” The backstory of what happened to Tau Ceti is “locked,” with more clues to be revealed over time as the story evolves. “It’s also important that players can jump into Marathon at any time. They’ll always be able to uncover the mysteries of Tau Ceti’s past while experiencing its present. We want every season to be a new entry point, and for new players to be able to understand what’s going on regardless of how long we’ve all been running.”

Well, given that we know material things exist because they can be measured and observed, it would seem that those asserting that the supernatural exists.
I know you didn't say "supernatural" in your post, but I didn't want to go with "non-material" because, even though I am an atheist, I don't believe that "only material things exist." The rules of math and logic, for example.

Atheists must make a positive case that only material things exist. That’s why instead of debating “Does God exist?” I prefer to debate the question “What better explains reality: atheism or theism?

We're looking at trying out some adjustments to pacing on Dire Marsh that we want to test through the experimental queue. As we've been tracking Dire Marsh over the season, we've felt that at times it can feel a bit crowded, leading to some issues where collisions between players happen too early especially around certain regions in the map. As a result we're going to try something on Sponsored Marsh where we'll be reducing the max crew size by one crew and observing to see how the pacing of the matches play out and how in general it feels to have a little bit more wiggle room for players.
DETAILS:
- Change is already live as of 4/22 3PM PT.
- Maximum crew count for Sponsored Dire Marsh will be reduced by one crew.

Anyone who thinks "AI = easy mode" honestly just sounds dumb and out of touch.
For context, I’ve been doing product design for 20+ years, including giant brands like Febreze, Swiffer, and Abercrombie with multi-continent supply chains etc.
I can tell you that AI is by FAR the most technically and cognitively demanding thing I’ve done in my career.
Yes plenty of people use it to make videos of Charlie Sheen farting on Pikachu or whatever but using AI tools at a high level is HARD.
It makes production a lot easier and faster (eg, writing code or generating images) but the cognitive part (deciding what code should be written or what image should be generated) is just as slow and hard as ever, so your brain is now the bottleneck.

Marathon on pace for its worst day yet, eclipsing last weeks worst days already. Concurrent player count has fallen BELOW 30k peak daily average. This can't keep up much longer w/o MAJOR changes.
