@AirwingMarine 10Gbit/s (actually 8 up/down, contract is fine). Super nice2have. Steam managed to hit 4,5 stable at unholy hours with no major releases around. Do you need it? No. But the grin on your face when you download massive games within minutes? Worth it xD

The way stuff works out sometimes is so funny. Been working through getting fiber installed at my house for months now. Winter here in Montana poses some unique issues, so that's a part of why it's drug out. We were supposed to get set up for 2.5 gig up/down last week. Well, the hardware they brought was broken or had some issue, and they didn't have replacements, so they were going to overnight the 1gig hardware. Something went wrong with that order, and it didn't show up. But the outfit wanted to keep to the timeline so they just installed 10 gig up/down hardware 🤣. No extra cost for the hardware, and in fact they are giving us a $50 amazon card for the hassle. They are going to throttle us down to the lower speed, BUT... if I ever want 10 gig for some reason... I can get it with a phone call and the flip of a switch 😁 I'm capped at 1 gig now simply cause some of the wiring in the house is old and only cat5e. I'll get that upgraded. But man this is a game changer for me!
