UVA Emergency Alert: 1128AM: BOMB THREAT at Shannon Library. University Police are on scene investigating. Both Shannon and Clemons Libraries are being evacuated. Continue to AVOID THE AREA.

MPD is closely monitoring the incident at a synagogue in Michigan. We are actively coordinating with our law enforcement partners in the District of Columbia. Out of an abundance of caution, MPD is increasing our presence at Jewish Institutions and other places of worship.
