A private pension is paid by yourself usually from your salary and you manage your investments if a dc pension, which you can access currently from 55.

@RandomIndivid01 @RockChartrand That’s what it says on paper, but that’s never what happens. Who supervises the checks and balances on the state for how they run things, looking for fraud? Other state workers. Like they care when they’re getting kickbacks.

Communists remove the individual’s right to own, invest, risk, build, and compete, then pretend “the workers” will somehow own industry collectively afterward. But if private ownership is abolished, the only entity left capable of controlling industry is the state. And the state doesn’t run everything directly through democratic worker harmony. It runs through politically connected managers, party loyalists, oligarchs, and hand picked cronies. You can’t abolish private property and simultaneously expect independent ownership to survive. Those are opposites.

@RandomIndivid01 @ClearReason Doesn't work this way. There may be some descendants of mixed marriages in 3rd generation who only have one maternal Jewish grandmother and don't know they are Jewish. But given USSR only existed a bit over 70 years there are insignificant number in general statistics
