@TheSimsDirect I would just like to be able to play the game. Haven't been able to play in almost 3 months because EA won't download and every time I go through to EA help they say there's no way to fix it. Joke.

@TheSimsDirect I haven’t been able to launch the game for weeks, was hoping it would fix after the update but still nothing :(

The Sims 4 released a base game update that includes a number of bug fixes to the game & Gallery as well as filtering for individual Kits in Build mode & Create a Sim. Please remember to remove any external game mods & custom content prior to updating as they may conflict.

@TheSimsDirect @EAHelp This is still causing massive problems. I haven't been able to play in 2 months. Infuriating considering I've paid hundreds for this game and it's packs.

We've been made aware of players having issues accessing The Sims 4 games through the EA App, including "failed to launch" errors & owned packs not showing up as "owned." Our team @EAHelp is working hard to investigate solutions with fixes. On Monday, the team rolled out a fix for the "update available" loop taking place & is continuing to work on resolving the above issues. We thank you for your patience & will keep you updated once we have more information to share.
