My first Charles Bronson film for a while. Thought I'd seen it, but I hadn't. Good film, and it really delivers towards the end. Some really cool sequences.

Fitzcarraldo (1982) didn’t fake the impossible shot, Herzog had a 320-ton steamship dragged over a real mountain using winches and local labor, no effects. The production nearly collapsed multiple times, which is exactly why the footage feels so unreal.
