@VincentCadena It felt like he was singlehandedly keeping painted movie posters alive. A terrible loss to cinema and all of those lucky enough to know him

Rest in Peace to the great Tony Stella, for almost 15 years I’ve been saying studios and most dvd companies were sleeping on hiring him. What a great loss🙏
Westerns & the Old West@DavidLambertArt
R.I.P. to the great Tony Stella, a friend and inspiration. This is devastating

@SpacewaySurf Green Snake and Zu: Warriors from the Magic Mountain are great, definitely get to them sometime.

@CarmelitaSays Keoma has cool music and action but Neros costume is so goofy as is the plot...weird one for sure, I liked it.

I really wanted to like this Corbucci western take on Bonnie and Clyde. Much like that film, I found it disappointing.

@WRyneHall @GRWill68628 Idk I feel like modern Lithuanians are definitely far enough removed to be considered white European but he does a racially versatile actor, always playing indians and Mexicans and even some other random ethnicities.
English

@RaoulDukereal @GRWill68628 It blew my mind at first, but if you really look at the shape and bone structure of his face, especially as he aged, it becomes somewhat more apparent. Interesting.

@Kaizerrev How do you not like fruit they're one of the sweetest plants we've cultivated
English

@RealJacobPerry I looked up the alligator death list on wikipedia and pretty much most all from the past 20 years is old people falling into rentention ponds or walking their dogs next to water. Alligators are boomer disposal machines.
English

@RaoulDukereal @GRWill68628 Charles Bronson is a Lipka Tatar. They lived in Lithuania, but were descendants of the Golden Horde, and other central Asian khanates.
English

@GRWill68628 One of the earliest successful Asian lead actors in the U.S., though most people don’t even know it.
English

@GRWill68628 Crazy back in how a relatively forgotten 70s movies you haven't heard of can have John Huston, Emilio Fernandez and Robert Duvall costarring in a movie where Bronson flies a helicopter...they didn't know how good they had it.

@SpacewaySurf Haven't gotten to but am excited. Apparently when characters look at each other their eyes don't line up cause theres not really a way to adjust what was designed for a curved surface to 2D without changing the image.

@PunishedMCHH @foundring1 I apologize for misremembering this iconic and important aspect of the development of American music, please accept my apology to you and all POC, LGBT, HDMI, and USB-C people's who read this 🙏

@letterbub Wapker and Highway Patrolman are better Alex Cox movies

@s534x5 @TheCinesthetic It is. They moved the real boat over the hill but this chatgpt using Indian slop farming account used the 1 scene where they use a corny model lol
English

Fitzcarraldo (1982) didn’t fake the impossible shot, Herzog had a 320-ton steamship dragged over a real mountain using winches and local labor, no effects. The production nearly collapsed multiple times, which is exactly why the footage feels so unreal.
cinesthetic.@TheCinesthetic
What’s a movie scene that genuinely feels impossible to recreate today?
English

@ctdnoah @TheCinesthetic You can tell this is an indian slopfarm account cause the fact they dragged the real boat over the mountain is true (they definitely use chatgpt) and then they picked the 1 scene in the whole movie where they substituted a cheesy model for a few shots lol
English

@TheCinesthetic This is such a horse shit post. Complete utter garbage.
