oh lawd he comin'. UNBLOCKABLE CHOPPER. I see this as a 2-3 of in deck. He's not going to be attacking. But this makes 8c Luffy Rush Unblockable. There will actually be so many different ways to combo these small straw hat crew cards.

@floppy_boot16 @Pernadeau @nicovelvets There's also the fact that there are legitimate Marines who stop pirates from murdering people because not every pirate is as nice as Luffy and the crew which Oda establishes early on in basically the first few arcs with buggy, Krieg, Kuro, and Arlong. They're all ruthless.

@Crossy_C98 Yeah I know. It's just incredibly frustrating to go from the DS remakes and 8's 3ds port where that isn't an issue to when it is. I really hope we get a definitive version that isn't stuck on a platform from 15 years ago.

@Rascoco_ That's just old school DQ. They have phased out needing to use divination at churches, though I believe the feature is still there, but yeah

The 3DS version may look "rough" even if it is honestly fine just clearly not gonna look as good as a PS2 game. But it by and far, leaps and bounds is the more content rich and better playing experience. Not just the additional content but with basic QOL too.

@Crossy_C98 Random pet peeve of mine in the original is you can't see exp for the new level until you go to a Church. On 3DS it's right in the menu.

Battles have speed up. I love DQ8. I hate how slow battles are. Now it isn't FF9 slow but yeah, indulgent is a way I would describe it. The game loves itself and those animations can take a while. Honestly I think every JRPG should have turn animations off feature from pokemon

Husband is ok to feel that way but at some point he should talk.

Its just the difference in the gender dynamic. The husband took on a personal task that he himself could take pride in. The wife, thinking he is only concerned with fixing the instrument, essentially repair cucked him by getting another man who's better at it to do it for him. She probably was just being nice im sure, but she didn't understand why it was important to him.

@Rascoco_ @Scinanigansss On top of the curve you will play for 10c Enel. That card is incredibly strong, helps you trade big characters and keep your lives count higer. The only way to hold Enel for them is to chain multiples Law and Bepo, as soon as they miss it they basically lose the game on the spot.
