@PWildebest @NPC14 @JAHeale One unnamed minister in Laura Spirit's [pre 3 line whip] Times article suggested that 1,500 would panic the cabinet.
Anything less than 2,200 loses and team Starmer are just going to shrug.
English

@ExchangeTape @JAHeale I wrote *meltdown*.
Would still be the biggest local council Party.
lose 75% of 2,500 [2026]
lose 75% of 2,500 [....]
lose 75% of 2,500 [....]
Then you have meltdown.
Nothing seems to stick when criticising Keir.
English

@bigun1414 @JAHeale I get the total numbers and when the councillors are up for election.
On that prediction Labour would still have more councillors than any other Party.
Labour would have to take that hit in 2026, 2028 and 2030 to reach what I see as meltdown.
English

@RHPalmerston3 @JAHeale No I just know how many Labour and Tory councillors exist along with how many are up for reelection between now and 2030. (assuming no council reorganisations)
The projected hit would still mean Labour has more councillors than any other party.
English

@NotAScoobie @JAHeale Assume this election cycle Labour drop 70%
Then the next cycle in 2028 70% of that
Finally in 2030 70% of the final tranche.
It takes three big bites to get a meltdown.
Folks just don't know councillor totals.
There are currently about 4,000 Tories.
English

@HarryClap52652 @JAHeale Well yes that would be if it happened.
That is for three election cycles on the trot Labour dropped 70% of seats.
Takes until 2030 assuming no council re-organisation.
English

@chesscom I would notice instantly.
Does it make a difference?
1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5 ...

@LeoKearse Drop the knife.
Drop the %^&*ing knife.
He did not.
Like it not a kick follows a kick until the knife is dropped.
English

What's racist today? Today, kicking an armed Jihadi terrorist who's been directed by the Iranian state to kill Jews (and has a knife in his hand) is racist
En Aitch Ess@adje__
As bad as what he did was, abhorrent actually, police absolutely cannot do this. Wtf!?
English

@DavidVance Maybe Tainted Love: Soft Cell / Gloria Jones.
I like both though.

Nigel Farage has been referred to the Standards Commissioner after @Annaisaac revealed that he received a £5million gift from cypto billionaire Christopher Harborne before he was elected in 2024
Farage said that he used the money to fund his private security. But the Commons rules state that new members are required to register any benefits - including gifts - that they received in the 12 months prior to their election
The Tories have now referred Farage to the Standards Commissioner, saying that Farage must 'come clean'
English

@DannyBeales below any acceptable standard for public office
says the man who voted against a referral to the privilege committee.
English

@darrenpjones Gordon Brown raided the "unearned" dividends on my pension fund. As a paid up fund come the annuity as an income it was below the Personal Allowance, which of course had also been frozen.
I paid tax for twenty years and did not see any benefit.
Your Party steals from pensions.
English

@TorstenBell @KemiBadenoch Sourceless chart with some strange % axis (?)
I do not believe you.
English

Post-truth nonsense from @KemiBadenoch at PMQs. Some facts:
- employment is up over 800k since the election
- employment rate is near the highest on record (look at this chart)
- inactivity rates are lower than all but one year under the Tories

@petemorristwit The one grip my autistic grandson has on the neuro-typical world is the iphone.
English

@JoeSmith817638 @Essex_Patriot Does a charity *really* have to take a call to rescue at sea.
You sure?
English

@Essex_Patriot Maybe if you spent less time posting shit and googled it you'de know.
INTERNATIONAL MARITIME LAW
is a legally binding law to rescue anyone in danger at sea.

@Adam66569381 @ChessNetwork Well ... Qf2 ; Na4 Bd1 and white draws.
No chance wouId I find that line which Jerry shares
as I just don't go back let alone back to back move back.
English

@ChessNetwork Nxc3 wins a pawn and activates the knight, doesn't it? He can't take back without your queen grabbing his rook.
English

@Arka30405089 @ChessNetwork What's a strong move for black in this endgame?
Hint: I may be setting you up to make a mistake!
Take the hint!!.
English

@Rat_1960 @ChessNetwork I just found a more negative player than myself
