I identify as an attack unicorn. A retweet or like does not always mean I agree. It can also mean that this idea is something I'd like to think about.

We won. After public and legal pressure, I was reinstated on TikTok today. We still don’t know why I was banned in the first place. They won’t give us an answer. They never do. It should NOT take a large audience and a legal team to protect one’s ability to speak freely online. I’m proud to be on a team that never bends a knee, always fights smart, and consistently wins. @realDailyWire

Just 24 hours later, @imbrettcooper was PERMANENTLY BANNED from @tiktok_us. Her crime? I don't know, because, again, the capriciousness is the point.

@Section_230 @BigAL429 @imbrettcooper You said "follow our rules or you don't play with our toys" What rules? "We reserve the right to take away the toys for no reason" Would you like to amend your first statement?

@imbrettcooper You have no right to use private property you don't own without the owner's permission. A private company gets to tell you to "sit down, shut up and follow our rules or you don't get to play with our toys".

Just as a reminder that 4 days after my analysis of Jack's Psychology Today article came out, showing that he completely misrepresented the studies he summarized there, Psych Today issued 4 corrections to Turban's article and did a few more stealth corrections, corresponding exactly to my criticisms. See: threadreaderapp.com/thread/1584857… And: realityslaststand.com/p/the-distorti… It turns out, @jack_turban, that even a "right wing" Manhattan Institute fellow with a PhD in political science can show you're a charlatan.
Leor Sapir@LeorSapir

People who care about science focus on arguments and evidence, ⁦⁦@jack_turban⁩, not the identities of researchers or the type of institutions they inhabit. Your response here is very good evidence that you are not a scientist, despite your degrees and institutional home.

Poland banned abortion (with very rare exceptions) in 1993. Their maternal deaths went from 80 in 1991 to just 33 by 1996 - over 50% fall in just 5 years.* Abortion doesn't prevent maternal mortality. Protecting mothers and babies does. *exceptionally rare FYI

@PoorWorkHabits @Prolife_Sam It's still killing, but it's a justified killing. If a woman will die, every prolife law in this country allows her to kill her unborn child. Supporting elective abortions, on the other hand, means you do not support human rights

@Prolife_Sam Ah! So it's only "killing a life" if it's ELECTIVE! So if it is the context of an emergency, then it's not killing. If it's not "killing," then by definition, what was terminated is not a "life." So why the distinction? Seems arbitrary.

@CorgusFrompus @MamaDoctorJones The only ones who want to make all abortions equitable is the side that equates a tragic miscarriage with an elective abortion. You guys even equate ectopic with elective abortion, knowing full well that not a single prolife law in this country bans it. It's absolutely vile.

@MamaDoctorJones Respectability politics PUSHED the slogan_legal, safe, and rare. It no longer serves the reproductive justice movement. They call us murderers. We want to destigmatize ALL abortion and make it equitable. There's no nuance where fascists are concerned.

Y’all need to realize that this Jessa Duggar response will be a pedestal to further prolife propaganda. That article was not an accident. The prolife goal is to make siding with choice unpalatable by disingenuously portraying as unreasonable…& it’s working.

@davidharsanyi Both wrong this was all about state malitias and their ability to protect themselves from external forces. The majority of weapons would have been kept in an armory In case of such an attack The 2nd amendment doesn't tell us we can own 500 guns and 10k rounds but here we are

@Prolife_Sam Brandon frasier married someone he loved and then when he was injured and traumatized, they divorced, leaving him paying $900,000 in alimony a year even when he was blacklisted and out of work. Men need prenups in today's day and age. End of story.

This is your sign that if your partner wants you to sign a prenup before marrying them, they aren’t the one. If they aren’t 100% committed to you and your life-long marriage, don’t marry them.

Even in the third trimester, they will abort healthy babies carried by healthy mothers. And then they'll falsify health justifications in the paperwork. In this case, it only came to light because the mom died in a botched abortion. secularprolife.org/2022/11/aborti…

@FlorioGina Aww were your feewings hurt because he personally thought you were a dope if you didn't get vaccinated? That's what you call "publicly berated" and "belittled"? I disagreed with him at the time and I'm glad he came around. That's OK. I'm able to handle someone disagreeing

The “I don’t like being lied to!” bit is rich coming from a guy who publicly berated people for being skeptical of the vaccine from day one. It’s bad enough he was duped so easily by Big Pharma, even worse that he attempted to belittle those of us who exercised reasonable caution

@DerbyB11 @Prolife_Sam Absolutely. Note that I'm only talking about a rare situation where the mother's health is at risk. On another note, I support not banning exceedingly rare and also highly emotional abortions. Practically, more support= more lives saved. And that's all I care about.

@Ray55162027 @Prolife_Sam 1) perinatal hospice and palliative care actually have better outcomes than abortion for families of babies with fetal anomaly. This is something I was completely unaware of until recently. perinatalhospice.org

Unfollow me if you must, but I am not an absolutist when it comes to abortion. There are rare instances when extremely difficult choices must be made, and we should be sensitive and loving to those families.

@Prolife_Sam @DerbyB11 1) I wouldn't support abortion for the health of the mother (ie, her life is not at risk), but if the baby is not compatible w/ life AND is posing a risk to mom's health, I would. 2) preventing implantation is not abortion. 3) if the mother is suicidal & nothing else is working

@DerbyB11 Hi! I don’t plan on unfollowing but I’m just curious about what cases you are referring to where you’d agree with legalized abortion, that most pro-lifers wouldn’t?
