Hard working @ASCO delegation to the AMA. We were 3/3 with adoption of ASCO sponsored resolutions regarding AMA advocacy for access to clinical trials for MEDICARE advantage patients, modernizing remote digital lab access under CLIA, and managing ERISA laws with PBMs

@KLVeritas I believe it is SB13. Leaves healthcare employees and students in academic institutions still exposed to vaccination mandates. TMA and hospital lobby strong. Harmful to individuals working in those settings.

For a state that considers itself an ultimate symbol of freedom, conservative values, and family values...it is mind-boggling that we still have C*19 vax mandates. Texas bill SB-7 to stop all mandates by employers passed the Senate barely, 18-13. Now it's up to the House to do its job. I don't have much confidence in #txlege that they will do the job. The hospital and medical lobby are strong in the great State of Texas, even more than the representatives' allegiance to their voters. The people of Texas do not want mandates, because they understand that mandates are the opposite of freedom. Maybe this will be the moment that our representatives remember what Texas truly means to us all.
