It was 17° and attendance was noticeably down today at church today. People shouldn’t skip church just because it’s cold outside.

@ArielRuthanne Oh, you've read Ted Dekker! I have a TON of his books on my shelf that I need to read. Did you ever read Adam by him?

@RayeDanny I totally get that. Christian fiction can end up being too safe, and the message can be a bit heavy handed. I think Ted Dekker is good, although I admittedly haven't read him since early high school.

@ArielRuthanne Not as much as you'd think for the way I love the Lord 😅 I love hearing that an author is Christian, but the books sometimes are too "pretty." If that makes sense?
