Reports suggest Labour may introduce capital gains tax on home sales in the Autumn Budget. It sounds like an easy revenue raiser - but the evidence shows it would slash transactions, gum up housing chains, and could even collect less tax overall. Thread:

She opened a fund to help women who have been discriminated against due to their gender critical views. She has given courage to thousands more women to stand up for their sex-based rights. So lads, we know who you mean by ‘the rest of us’. It’s men, isn’t it?

Bruce Springsteen headlined at Worthy Farm in 2009. However, Organisers were fined £3,000, as his Set overran - breaching the curfew by just 9 minutes! Michael Eavis paid the fine himself saying those last few minutes were 'spectacular' 1/2 #Glastonbury 😎

@BBCNews They clearly don't like each other and never did much. This isn't any kind of artistic coming together. It's purely about money, so the 'shine' is fine when you see it for what it is. We got tickets at face value after a few hours of queuing. It will still be great.
