Looks like the V8 ML is possibly going next week, need to decide on a short term replacement family car that’ll eventually become our 3rd/back up car. £4k budget with a few must haves: > 2010 & Euro 5 onwards > Automatic Gearbox > Estate, SUV or MPV but must have a 600L or bigger, practical boot (Pram, Children’s stuff and Wife’s business bits) > Ideally with a bit of poke, nothing under 2.0L and must be turbo/supercharged > Higher specs are preferred with a sunroof and heated seats What do we reckon? Ford Galaxy, Kia Sorento, LR Disco 4, Citroen C5 Tourer, BMW X5, Mercedes E or R Class, Volvo XC70 or XC90? Something like these…..all suggestions welcome 🙏

@Mattisamazing33 Matt, the HPB in Northumberland is the same quality and everything there is very dog friendly. Pub 2 minutes away and miles of empty beaches 10 to 15 minutes in the car.

@Rc00C @mctreckmeister @Scrof I've long wondered whether there is a fix available as part of updated software, but never actually gotten round to asking the supplying dealer. Actually it needs to go to them anyway so I'll have to remember to ask.

I despair for mandatory automatic speed limiters. The DS I'm in at the moment thinks I'm in France and is converting the signs into mph. From mph. I'm in a 40 here.
A minute ago it read the sign on a slip road and proudly informed me the limit on a dual carriageway was 19mph.

@mctreckmeister @Scrof Not speed limit related, but similar type issue of modern assistance functions going awry - the active cruise in our Seat Tarraco regularly forgets which side of the road we drive on in the UK during a journey and will suddenly try to prevent me overtaking cars on my inside 🤦🏻♂️
