The cursor fall-off is going to be studied for decades. I don't know any engineer who uses them anymore. Not to say that others don't, but it's obvious that they're no longer on the tech frontier. Still, a $60b outcome in 4 years is nothing to sneeze at...

This is one of those design / marketing moments where I just scratch my head. There are huge readability & brand issues. - Different color green - The green is too dark against the black - disco ball texture looks pixelated on a tiny phone screen A kinda dumb mistake.

I now understand why AI will eat the software industry. I used to have a web agency. With Claude over the last 3 days I have built and deployed a system that would have: - Taken 6 months - Cost £150-200k - Required 8 different skill sets I can't design. I can't code. I don't understand SQL, APIs, Cloud Storage - yet Claude has walked me through Github, Supabase, Vercel and it is deployed and working. A 100% custom software system - 3 days, 1 idiot. BLOWN AWAY!

@hiarun02 I don't now tbh, I guess I can. But it's hard to see ever going back to not using AI

I built a tool that ranks health influencers by how well their claims match 150,000 research papers. Here's the leaderboard. Will post more results soon!

I'm 22 years old and Claude Code is deteriorating my brain. Every single day for the last 6 months I've had 6 to 8 Claude Code terminals open, waiting for a response just so I can hit 'enter' 75% of the time. And it's doing something to me. In convos with a couple of friends, it's been a point that's been brought up pretty frequently. None of us feel as sharp as we used to. I don't know if it's just us, or others in their 20s are feeling the same thing, but it's something I've been thinking about a lot. P.S. I know this is a problem with my reliability/usage of it, not Claude Code itself, but the effects are real nonetheless

@neil_xbt The analogy between operating systems and LLMs seems to work. I also liked that he said that with LLMs we are at the point where we were with traditional computing in 1960s. Inference is still very costly to do on device, so we are all clients of one big mainframe running the LLM

ANDREJ KARPATHY JUST DECLARED THE END OF PROGRAMMING AS YOU KNOW IT. Not an exaggeration. A framework. Software 1.0 was explicit code that humans wrote line by line. Software 2.0 was neural network weights trained on data. Software 3.0 is English. Natural language as the programming interface. LLMs as the computer. Prompts as the code. The entire history of software development was a workaround for the fact that computers could not understand humans. That workaround just became optional. In 40 minutes, you will understand why.

Does anyone actually run 20+ agents 24/7? I’m genuinely interested in how that setup looks like.
