Yo @Meta y’all should 100% buy Rec Room and bring it back to life. Strip it of all the stuff that’s wasting money and save a community. I’ve heard hundreds of, if not thousands of stories of how Rec Room has changed their life..this isn’t some small game that just didn’t make it

@Turbolunch Very true. I don’t really know any other company in the VR space that could afford it. Obviously they won’t buy it, it was more of a joke post calling a big company to give the game some more time. I wasn’t especially serious

@RealBoethiah I feel like apple would get better used out of it once they have a consumer product. Meta already proved they cant run basically the exact same product with horizon worlds.

What, exactly, would the benefit be for Meta here?

I'm saddened to hear that @recroom is closing down. They not only gave me a ton of wonderful memories throughout the years, but also my start on youtube with this channel. Rec Room game changed my life for the better! Here's to you RR. Thank you for everything!
