The @liberal_party in Canada and the US @DNC have been following fascist policies for so long that nobody in North America knows what a 'Liberal' is anymore. Liberalism is based on the belief that all humans have intrinsic value and therefore three categories of inalienable rights, the rights to 'life, liberty and property'. You can't be a 'liberal' and support abortion, vaccine mandates or wealth redistribution, because they violate each of those categories. Liberals believe in small government limited to the protection of human rights from internal and external threats. @JMilei, @MaximeBernier and @AndersonAfDMdEP are liberals, as was Wilberforce, Gladstone, etc. Stop calling socialists 'liberals'. Whether Marxists, Fabians, Syndicalists, etc, or blends of those like National Socialists or Fascists, they're not 'liberals', they're socialists. They don't care about freedom, human life, moral values or civilisation. They all end up in a violent modern reincarnation of feudal serfdom or antebellum slavery if left to their evil whims. Arming a neo Nazi regime is not 'choosing peace'. Ukraine is a dictatorship and Russia is a democratic Republic. Ukraine had a Nazi backed coup in 2014, and launched a genocide immediately after the coup. Russia finally intervened in that genocide in 2022 after 8 years of stalling, delay and outright complicity of the west. Zelenskyy banned all opposition political parties except the Nazis, banned all opposition media except state and Nazi media and banned the Ukrainian Church. So take your bullshit propaganda elsewhere.

You cannot reform Canada when modern democracies incentivise political corruption and the consolidation of power and wealth at the expense of the public and national interest. The only solution is to separate Alberta, fix the corrupting political incentives under a strict constitution, then cascade that across Canada one region at a time. Cresting a true confederation as was the intent of the Quebec Conference in the 1860s.

Let me say this clearly: Albertans have every right to be frustrated. Honestly, I am still frustrated Conservatives did not win the last federal election. I truly believe Canada - and Alberta especially - would be in a much stronger position today rebuilding our economy, expanding our energy sector, and restoring investor confidence. For years, Albertans watched their industries attacked, their concerns dismissed, and their contributions minimized while still helping power the Canadian economy. That frustration is real. But I personally do not believe the answer is a weaker Alberta outside Canada with unknown future. I believe in a stronger more autonomous Alberta inside Canada. An Alberta confident enough to demand respect. Strong enough to fight for fairness. And proud enough to refuse being ignored anymore. You do not have to hate Canada to love Alberta deeply. And you do not have to support separation to understand why so many Albertans feel unheard right now. I think Premier Danielle Smith understands this frustration better than many people realize. Whether people agree with her or not, she has become one of the strongest and most effective voices Alberta has had in long time. As someone who came to this country searching for opportunity, I still believe Alberta and Canada together remain one of the greatest places on Earth to build a life, raise a family, and dream bigger than where you started.
