CW5 Kelly reached out to me early during the unlawful mandate- he is exactly the kind of leader we desperately need in Army Aviation!
FYSA- the military invested about $5-10 million in training and flight time to create a highly skilled Apache pilot like CW5 Kelly.
Kicking out over 8,500 highly trained servicemembers and forcing out tens of thousands more...was like leaving leaving 7.2 billion dollars of military equipment in our enemies hands in Afghanistan. Consider this, senior leaders were more effective at taking servicemembers out of the fight (8,500+) than ISIS and the Taliban did in a 20 years war (7,100).

Chief Warrant Officer 5 Kelly, a Master Aviator, was involuntarily separated in September 2022 after refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine. Following the release of EO 14184, he worked directly with the dedicated @USArmy COVID-19 Reinstatement & Reconciliation Task Force to return to service. With support from the Task Force - and under the leadership of @SecWar & @SecArmy - CW5 Kelly was reinstated in February 2026 with full relief, including backpay, duty station preference, entitlements, benefits, and constructive service credit. He now serves alongside his three sons, each carving their own path in the @USArmy, @USNavy & @USAirForce. Where were you @ArmyChaplains? Your 'Chief' is gone and now the Colonels are fighting for position, hoping beyond hope that they will receive the nomination for that star. Where were you when Religious Accommodation was systematically denied? Did any of you Colonels now fighting to step into the Chief's office do anything to fight at all for your Soldiers during Covid? You are vicious in your pursuit of that rank, where was that energy for the Free Exercise of Religion?
Where were you @GregoryNTodd1 and @ChapsUSMC? I think we the People would like to know. I'm sure @SecWar @PeteHegseth and @SECNAV @HungCao_VA would be interested to know about his possible new Chief of @NavyChaplains. Did either of you fight for your Sailors and Marines? Did you stick up for your Coastguardsmen? Or did you refuse to speak out, afraid you wouldn't be honored by the Navy or get that star yourself?
Where were you 'Chief' of @usafhc and Deputy Kelley? You are preaching a lot about Moral Courage lately. Did you practice what you preach? You've been tasked with leading the way in the Air Force to help people with Moral Injury. Have you considered how your silence and duplicity caused so much of what you are now supposed to fix?

On the Army Chaplain Corps’ Proposal for Removal of Rank Insignia:
In talking with Army chaplains, it seems that ‘Chief’ of @ArmyChaplains is proposing something like this attached photo.
When @SecWar said we are to replace rank with religious insignia, I took that literally – remove the vestiges of rank and replace it with religious insignia. It seemed clear to me. It didn’t seem like a “slogan.” I thought it could be done by now. It just makes sense, but the belligerent bureaucracy seems to be the Chaplain Corps only mode of operation under this administration.
They will begrudgingly remove rank insignia. However, they intend to place a subdued black cross on the collar, blending in with the camo pattern, as opposed to having the religious insignia prominently displayed where the rank was formerly located. This seems to be against SecWar’s guidance to ensure that chaplains are seen as “chaplains first, and officers second.” What will go in the center? Nothing it seems.
Why not simply move the religious insignia to the center of the chest where rank once was? For the better part of the past two decades, Soldiers are used to looking at the center of the chest to see who they are talking to, rank-wise. Putting the chaplain insignia there is the logical choice. This follows the order for chaplains to be “chaplains first, and officers second.”
When a Soldier looks to where the chaplain’s rank once was, they will not see the typical emblems of authority, but the true source of all Authority. A chaplain’s authority does not come from stars and bars. It comes from their role as a religious ministry professional. It comes from the cross, their religious insignia, and their calling. Therefore, it is the preeminence of pastoral and moral authority as represented by their religious insignia, prominently displayed front and center that actually becomes the true rank of the chaplain.
With Christ, His authority was who He was, certainly, but not only that. His authority also came from how He spoke Truth to power, how He provided for the people, how He cared for everyone, and His deeds confirmed His words were the word of God. Our religious insignia will separate us visibly as men of the cloth, but our words and actions should confirm it.
The religious insignia shouldn’t be hidden under a bushel, so to speak. The religious insignia should be prominently displayed where rank once stood to lead the way for the chaplain.

Or any generic morale officer. This should not be. Chaplains are Religious Ministry Professionals. They should be ministers first and foremost. "Chaplains first, and officers second" as @SecWar has said. It is great to have @DeptofWar leadership who understands the chaplain's calling. It is sad that Chaplain Corps leadership doesn't seem to agree.

You hypocrites! Well did you sit idly by while Religious Accommodation was shrouded in mystery so you could hide your deceit. Well did you let 'chaplains' become gatekeepers to, and not champions of the Free Exercise of Religion. Well did you do the opposite of what you now preach in these videos.
The Chaplain Corps has no contrition. There can be no forgiveness or redemption without it. As long as the Chaplain Corps remains silent on their failures through Covid, DEI, and the evils that have infested our military, they need to remain silent on Moral Courage.
At least the @ArmyChaplains and @NavyChaplains have the common sense to remain silent on this, just as they did when the People needed them to speak out.
I don't claim to be perfect, I am thankful for God’s calling on my life to serve as a pastor and chaplain. I often pray that I may have the moral courage and the wisdom to know when and how to speak God’s truth. I know I have failed and will continue to fail from time to time. I am grateful for God’s forgiveness in Christ and I seek to live a daily life of repentance. Praying that God may bless our nation. 🙏🇺🇸
